Hello friends,
You may have visited me before on www.inkinglife.com, but I have created my own site from the ground up and am in the process of “renaming” myself! I have spent lots of time doing classes, and I recently received my Altenew Educators Certification, and decided it was time to go in a new direction! This is my first post under the new name.
I will be doing an official “launch” in September. I hope you’ll sign up for my blog and stay tuned!
Today for the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #567 we have a great sketch by Andrea. This designs lends itself to many different types of cards, but since I’m always needing birthday cards, I went with that theme. I also stayed with a primary color scheme in order to create a card for anyone!
I embossed several of the features on this card. All of the sentiment is embossed, as well as the background and the outline of the party blower. In the close-up below you can see the little confetti that has also been embossed with a satin white to give some texture on the sentiment strip.
This was a really fun card to make, and came together fairly quickly.
Thanks for spending some time today here, I hope you check back soon!
Rachael
This is really simple, ageless, and versatile. I can see it for a little boy, for an old boy, for anyone. Very nice work, again.
Thank you!
