What a great sketch this week from Donna Mikasa for CAS(e) This Sketch #391!
I chose to use this sketch with the Fresh Freesia Flowers Stamp Set from Altenew.
I really enjoy water-coloring anytime, so creating two of the same stamp was a lot of fun and relaxation for me!
For this card, I embossed my flowers with Altenew Obsidian Black Pigment Ink, and used clear embossing powder first.
Once I created both my flowers on watercolor paper, I then cut the stitched rectangles to place on top to give the flowers a strong dimensional look. I used a double layer of foam tape for the dimensional look.
The last thing was to stamp my sentiment and add a bit of bling underneath it. When my card front was completed, I mounted it onto a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 side folded card base. Done!
Such a great sketch to start with, and a lot of fun to create.
Thanks for spending your time with me today.

Great card. love the water color and layout style. Thanks for sharing your creative talent.
Your card is what is amazing! How original, and eyecatching, Rachel. I don’t know how you got the flower bits in between the rectangles and then the stems to match up so well, but it certainly is beautiful.
You’re an inspiration ~
