Hello, Rachael here. This weeks CAS(e) This Sketch #394 is so sweet and simple. I really enjoyed this one.

When I first saw this sketch, I for sure thought about Christmas baubles with the string element, but decided to take it in a whole other direction.

Babies!

I don’t do very many baby cards at all. When I do, I like to keep it simple. By using the Little One stamp and die bundle from Altenew,  this card came together exactly how I envisioned it.

I created a kind of mobile hanging from the edge, in keeping with the sketch, and stamped the small bows and then used a silver pen and glitter brush to get the slight shimmer on the objects.

There was actually quite a bit of ruler use for this card, because of the simplicity of this week’s sketch,  I felt it was very important for everything to be as correctly spaced as possible. I finished off this card with an embossed sentiment and a row of ducks,
