Thanks so much to everyone for all the well wishes during the holiday season.

Our family celebrated like many of you thru online video chats, and text messages!

Many of us took some time out from our regular routines and just “enjoyed” being together. I was one of them!

I am a bit late with my post (please forgive me) and I need to announce the winner of last months giveaway!

Vickie Davis, you were randomly selected from those that signed up.

Vickie, please reach out and send me your address! Thanks to everyone that participated!

For todays post I want to share the December PAF- Tulips from Altenew. I love the paint a flower series that comes out every month, and I always try to find ways to paint them in a different way.

This time I went to my dye ink refills. I used them as you would watercolors. If you want to stretch your supplies, this is the way to do it! I painted this flower set with justĀ  a few drops of ink. Because the re-inkers are undiluted you get a lot of color vibrancy from them. Be sure to use watercolor paper for this method, as regular cardstock will not hold up to the moisture you need to use.

I embossed my image first with the Obsidian black pigment ink, and then started to build my colors up from there. This is a fun way to use products you may already have on hand, and it’s just one more way to have fun coloring!

Thank you for joining me today, and I hope you’ll stop by again and leave me some comeents!

Rachael
