Angelique Motifs Stamp and Die with the Geometric Landscapes Stencil
For my first card I am using the Geometric Landscape Stencil as a background. Using a stencil is a great way to create a straightforward, and easy to achieve background. The result is you can create something unique to your card.
Keep in mind when using stencils, be sure your stencil is secured to your cardstock quite well before beginning.
I used the Limestone mini ink cube from the Rock Collection to ink up my background using a blending brush. These lovely flowers from the Angelique Motifs Stamp and Die Bundle are inked up with the Lapis Lazuli Mini Ink Cube Collection and really layered up beautifully and effortlessly.
In order to get a little bit of shine to come through on the flowers and to add some interest, I used a blue gel glitter pen in the same color family as the ink.
I added a sentiment strip onto a piece of vellum just to create a bit of texture, and used deep blue sequins to finish things off.
Amazing You and Geometric Landscape Stencil
For my next card, using the same Geometric Landscape Stencil, I created this gorgeous background using the Altenew Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink and clear embossing powder.
What a lovely background this created for my flowers!
The Amazing You Stamp and Die bundle is one of my personal favorites. I love how the crisp white lines from the background stencil really help the flowers and sentiment “pop”! As you can see I achieved a lot of texture with this pigment ink, and I did that by applying the ink and powder in a thick coat! It almost looks wet to the touch!
I liked how this card turned out so well, I made a gift box to match. Using all the same stencil and embossing techniques.
I got my inspiration from a recently received order from Altenew. This adorable little box is the packaging for the Make a Statement Sequins Bundle!
I just measured and copied the dimensions to make my own gift box! It’s perfect for additional stencil style!
These are classic colors to work with, and the Geometric Landscape stencil is what pulled both of these cards together. You can find all my supplies below this post.
When you’re ready, hop along to Terri Marie Koszler site and see her and the other artists offerings. Be sure to leave us comments in order to be eligible for all the great Altenew Prizes.
